Foreigners Who Don't Fit In

"Australians all let us rejoice,
for someone's left our land"

There can be no greater gift to our great country than when people who don't fit in depart our shores. Such is the case of Ilja and Braguna Iloski who, I have just learnt, have returned to the Republic of Macedonia (Yugoslavia). I use Yugoslavia in brackets to highlight the fact that I support the Greeks in not accepting the former Yugoslavians in their use of the word Macedonia.

From first-hand experience, I can safely say that the Iloski's are among the most vile people I have ever had the misfortune to encounter. I always believed that they must have crawled out from caves in their home country, because their behaviour was akin to that of mad peasants.

The hell that this elderly couple created for their neighbours in Brighton-Le Sands for a number of years, was mostly left unchecked by the Kogarah Police, even when a knife was reportedly used in a more recent 'attack' on another individual. I was witness to Mr Iloski's violent attack against a teenage girl and her dog, and also became the target of his filthy and abusive behaviour. I'm disappointed to add that a Magistrate at Sutherland Court misled me into signing an agreement, by suggesting that it was 'binding' and could be enforced. I was later advised that it was not worth the paper it was written on.

Anyway, the Iloski's who couldn't speak anything other than Albanian, even after being in Australia for more than 30 years, have gone. When I heard the 'good news' today, I couldn't help wondering if another incident had resulted in their departure.

Good ridance!
