Wanted: Rhiannan Leigh Kent

Rhiannan Leigh Kent - wanted for avoiding Writ of Execution.

On 21st of May 2004, Rhiannan Leigh Kent of 13 Newman St Newtown, was found guilty of Larceny, in the Downing Center Local Court in Sydney. The verdict, handed down by Magistrate Julie Huber, related to Miss Kent's involvement in what was actually a robbery in Brighton Le Sands on 11th of September 2003. Her partner, a male who has served his time, was found guilty of assault.

Miss Kent, in what was obviously a ploy by her lawyer to get a lenient sentence, pleaded guilty to the theft of the mobile phone, offered a letter of apology, and promised to pay the amount of $300 compensation. Sadly, the court fell for this.

Rhiannan Lee Kent vanished into thin air, without ever keeping her promise. Court attempts to track her down have led nowhere, with the last report from her step-mother saying the debtor "is believed to be residing in Victoria".

A scan of the letter Kent provided to the court appears below. An image of her taken from video footage is shown above.

If anyone has any information as to Rhiannan Lee Kent's wherabouts, please email details, or contact the NSW Police with regard to Case No. 20071586/04/02 or the Office of the Sheriff on (02) 9287 7063 and quote the Court File No. 11956/04.

* Until Ms Kent has come forward of her own accord, I shall not consider nor feel obliged to remove this public article. The wording in the letter above is, in my opinion, too shrewd to have been written by her. It can only be conclude therefor, that they didn't come from her heart. So, she's a blatant liar. Her account of what happened are lies too.
