Police 'Ignore' Mobile Phone Talker

At about 12:15 today, I was driving up Woniora Rd towards Hurstville CBD.
I had to slow down to almost a stop when I got close to a car that was wandering all over the left-hand side of the road at a snail's pace.

Well what do you know. The Asian driver of this silver Mercedes S320 (rego: ATB 67Y) was yacking away with his mobile phone glued to his right ear. No hands-free set, like he can't bloody well afford it? He didn't bother to pull over to the left of the road and stop. He continued on to drive slowly while talking on this phone, and took no regard of those driving behind him.

Making this incident truly ennoying, was that a police car turned into the same road behind me. I doubt the police officers ever passed a Boy Scouts' Observation test. If they had, they would have seen me stick my arm out of the window and give what should have been very noticeable signals to them to look at the Mercedes driver's actions.

No such luck. Even after my overtaking the twit in the Mercedes S320, the police remained behind him until he turned off into a public car park opposite the Hurstville Police Station.

Unfortunately, I didn't get a the police car's details, but I do know that it belonged to the Hurstville unit. I'll consider contacting the station's commander for comment, but somehow doubt I'll get a satisfactory response.

In the meantime Mr silver Mercedes ATB67Y, here's the photo of the police car behind you, along with another taken of your rego plate in the car park.
