Wanted: Rhiannan Leigh Kent

Rhiannan Leigh Kent - wanted for avoiding Writ of Execution.

On 21st of May 2004, Rhiannan Leigh Kent of 13 Newman St Newtown, was found guilty of Larceny, in the Downing Center Local Court in Sydney. The verdict, handed down by Magistrate Julie Huber, related to Miss Kent's involvement in what was actually a robbery in Brighton Le Sands on 11th of September 2003. Her partner, a male who has served his time, was found guilty of assault.

Miss Kent, in what was obviously a ploy by her lawyer to get a lenient sentence, pleaded guilty to the theft of the mobile phone, offered a letter of apology, and promised to pay the amount of $300 compensation. Sadly, the court fell for this.

Rhiannan Lee Kent vanished into thin air, without ever keeping her promise. Court attempts to track her down have led nowhere, with the last report from her step-mother saying the debtor "is believed to be residing in Victoria".

A scan of the letter Kent provided to the court appears below. An image of her taken from video footage is shown above.

If anyone has any information as to Rhiannan Lee Kent's wherabouts, please email details, or contact the NSW Police with regard to Case No. 20071586/04/02 or the Office of the Sheriff on (02) 9287 7063 and quote the Court File No. 11956/04.

* Until Ms Kent has come forward of her own accord, I shall not consider nor feel obliged to remove this public article. The wording in the letter above is, in my opinion, too shrewd to have been written by her. It can only be conclude therefor, that they didn't come from her heart. So, she's a blatant liar. Her account of what happened are lies too.

Police 'Ignore' Mobile Phone Talker

At about 12:15 today, I was driving up Woniora Rd towards Hurstville CBD.
I had to slow down to almost a stop when I got close to a car that was wandering all over the left-hand side of the road at a snail's pace.

Well what do you know. The Asian driver of this silver Mercedes S320 (rego: ATB 67Y) was yacking away with his mobile phone glued to his right ear. No hands-free set, like he can't bloody well afford it? He didn't bother to pull over to the left of the road and stop. He continued on to drive slowly while talking on this phone, and took no regard of those driving behind him.

Making this incident truly ennoying, was that a police car turned into the same road behind me. I doubt the police officers ever passed a Boy Scouts' Observation test. If they had, they would have seen me stick my arm out of the window and give what should have been very noticeable signals to them to look at the Mercedes driver's actions.

No such luck. Even after my overtaking the twit in the Mercedes S320, the police remained behind him until he turned off into a public car park opposite the Hurstville Police Station.

Unfortunately, I didn't get a the police car's details, but I do know that it belonged to the Hurstville unit. I'll consider contacting the station's commander for comment, but somehow doubt I'll get a satisfactory response.

In the meantime Mr silver Mercedes ATB67Y, here's the photo of the police car behind you, along with another taken of your rego plate in the car park.

Taken at 12:18pm (23/11/2006), the police car can be clearly seen behind the silver Mercedes

HLDNON for Hoons

Hoons believe they own the roads in Sydney. The lack of adequate resources for NSW Police, and them often taking the line of least resistance, is surely going to lead to greater chaos on our roads. I lay the blame for this squarely on the weasels in the NSW Labor Government. After so many years of disgustingly bad governing, they have managed to bring just about every bit of vital infrastructure to its knees.

I won't use this blog entry to ramble on about politics, but I would like to point to this article in the Sydney Morning Herald, written by Margo Kingston back in March 2003. She's a journalist of great repute, and her words about the upcoming NSW Elections in that year make for very interesting reading.

Now, getting back to hoons...
This evening, Sunday 19 November at 17h30, I witnessed two cars racing through the quiet suburb of Blakehurst. I first noticed these 'animals' on Terry Street. They then screeched away from the traffic lights onto the Princes Highway, and went 'hell bent for leather' towards Kogarah. Fortunately, I managed to get an image of one of the vehicles at the traffic lights.

Here's a description of the two cars. One was a grey Chevrolet (Rego: HLDNON), and the other a black vehicle (Rego: YOU112), driven by a P-plater.
Both these vehicles were driving well in excess of the legal speed limit, and what is most disturbing, is the speed at which they drove through residential areas.

I shan't bother with reporting this to the police. On previous occasions, reporting incidents has been like beating your head against a brick wall. In fact, on the 20th of July this year, I handed in heaps of documentation along with my complaint made at the Hurstville Police Station. My complaint was taken by a very friendly Constable Woodside. To this date however, and it's now four months later, I have not received a single call from the police with regard to the COPS Event No. E27262637.

Who was the Police Minister at the time? It was Carl Scully, and I had brought the same complaint to his attention via email. Yeah, what a joke!
